About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what we store on your device when you visit klyonix.com, why we store it, and how you can change your choice at any time. It covers cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage, which we refer to together as cookies for simplicity.
Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, and our Terms of Service. This policy applies to every visitor wherever you are. If you are in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, our Cookie Policy (EU) presents the same information in the format required there.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and which your browser sends back on later visits. Local storage works in a similar way, but keeps the information inside your browser rather than sending it with every request.
Some are set by us. Some are set by a service we use, such as Google Analytics. Some last only for your current visit. Others stay until they expire or you clear them.
How we group them
Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work and to remember the privacy choice you made. These are always on, and we do not need your consent for them.
Preferences. Remember small choices you make, such as whether you minimised our AI assistant.
Statistics. Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These stay switched off until you opt in.
Marketing. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not sell your data. The category appears on our consent banner so that you can see for yourself that it is switched off.
What we store and why
Consent cookies, set by us. Named cmplz_consent_status, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics and cmplz_marketing. They record the choice you made on our consent banner so we do not ask again on every page. They expire after 365 days. Strictly necessary.
Google Analytics, set by Google. Named _ga and _ga followed by our property identifier. They count visits and show us which pages are useful. They are placed only after you accept statistics cookies, and they expire after up to 24 months. Statistics.
AI assistant history, stored by us in your browser. Named kx_chat_v3 and kx_chat_arch. They hold your current and recent conversations so the chat still shows your history when you move between pages or return later. They remain until you clear them in your browser or through the chat window. Strictly necessary for the assistant to work.
AI assistant preferences, stored by us in your browser. Named kx_dock_min and kx_preview. kx_dock_min remembers that you minimised the assistant and lasts only for the current browser session. kx_preview records whether you turned the assistant on or off using a link we gave you. Preferences.
Your conversations are also held on our own servers, as described in our Privacy Policy, and are deleted automatically 24 months after they are recorded. Clearing your browser removes the local copy but not our server record. To have that deleted sooner, contact our Grievance Officer.
Changing your mind
You can reopen the consent banner at any time using the Manage Consent control at the bottom of every page, and switch statistics on or off. Your new choice applies immediately.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. If you block everything, parts of the site including the AI assistant may not work as intended.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this page when we add or remove a tool, or when the law changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with a revised date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will ask for your consent again.
